Space Shuttle Cockpit: Arduino Simon Says

TASK: To make an exhibit of the Science Museum of Virginia interactive for children.

EXHIBIT/STRATEGY: The SMofVA contained an old shell of a Space Shuttle. It inspired us to re-create the inside of a space shuttle’s cockpit to be interactive and fun, thereby keeping the wonder of space exploration alive in young children.

EXECUTION: Built a portion of a space shuttle cockpit with working flight controls using an Arduino Simon Says game. We also branded the experience with an operations manual that would walk children through the steps and provide a few facts.
